This tool will generate multiple characters on a single-click, rolling the
abilities per the selected method. Any Ability
of 15 or higher is highlighted in green, while any character that has two or more Abilities of 15 or higher has
it’s entire row highlighted in green.
It will then determine eligible races per those base abilities, select a random
eligible race, adjust those abilities per the race selected, and finally determine
what classes the adjusted character could have and randomly selects one.
It also randomly generates some secondary values, like gender, height, weight,
etc [more to come]. Characters with an `S` note in the height section are size Small
(vs size M or L).
Randomly selecting the race and (especially) the class is a feature, not a bug.
Sometimes the inevitable non-optimal choices made are suggestive of an interesting
back-story and personality. Roll with it. Or override it.
There is no "arrange as desired" option as (a) I can't be arsed coding up
heuristics/etc to make that automatic, and (b) it's actually faster to roll up (say)
100 characters and selecting a good one. And (c) it avoids the tedious
dump-stat-syndrome situation.
Clicking on the gold ⧉ and J buttons on any row will
copy that row onto your clipboard in either simple text or JSON format respectively.
Clicking the A buttons will load the character of that row into the New
Character form of adndtoolkit.com.
